How many times have you been at a wedding and everyone is waiting for the bride to walk down the aisle and it keeps getting delayed? You start to wonder if it’s still going to happen. Did someone get cold feet? What you don’t know is that the bride might be in the back freaking out over her hair! Yes, you got it, I said hair! I have personally been a guest at two different weddings and gotten pulled into the back room by someone who hears that I’m a hairdresser, trying to salvage a bridal hair-do gone wrong shortly before the ceremony starts. I can only tell you that this could have been greatly avoided had the bride taken the same care to plan her hair as she did her dress. Read more>

Taking the plunge often means your bank account plunges too, but out of all the expenses of planning a wedding, nothing shocked me more than the high cost of flowers! And it seemed that there was no getting around it until now. You can take ideas from the best of the best, like Oprah’s favorite event planner, Colin Cowie, and see what’s in, what’s not and where to cut corners. We’ll show you how: Read more>

Dear Case,
My friend and her husband got a sweet puppy last year named Lucy. The dog seems to really add joy to their life and as an animal lover myself, I can definitely appreciate that. However, they take Lucy everywhere with them: meeting for coffee, trips to the beach, shopping, parties, you name it. They don’t ask or even announce that they will be bringing their dog. While Lucy is well behaved, I feel like it’s rude to assume that everyone is okay with having her around. Read more>

Imagining Our Wedding Day
Your wedding day should be the best day of your whole life. Every girl dreams of their wedding day. The location will be gorgeous, the food will be delicious, the DJ will rock the house, and the guy…sigh. He will be perfect in every way. But do things ever go the way you plan them? I would like to say yes, but sadly, I know this isn’t the case. In my experience, parties and occasions always turn out differently from the way you envision them. For example, you invite your friends over, everything is going well, and then BAM! Katie and Susie are screaming at each other over Billy, and Marsha is off crying in the corner because Emily says she likes Mary more than her. Drama. Read more>

Can you do it? We all talk about it. We even see movies making fun of those who don’t. Can you really decide this year that you’ll select a dress that your bridesmaids WILL wear again? Sure, maybe the over the top, extravagant wedding is some bride’s dream…but that’s not YOUR style. You’re the prudent, sensible girl AND you want to be considerate towards guests who are paying to travel or may be out of work. So what to do? Variety is the spice of life and that holds true with gift registries…weBEgirls has some great ideas to take the stress off of the gifting side of tying the knot. Read more>

The wedding plans are made and you’re sporting a beautiful ring – all is perfect with the world. Hopefully. But, your friend Alexandria just told you her husband just left her and is asking for half of her house in the divorce agreement. Wow! That’s not very nice! She worked really hard to buy the house before they were married. Should you ask for a pre-nup? Read more>
