So you have your shopping list. If I look at your shopping list from week to week, I’m betting I’m going to see a lot of the same things, over and over. I’d also be willing to bet that you’d like to save a bit of money on these items, preferably without enduring the hell on Earth that is shopping at Costco.
I have a solution and I bet you’ve never heard of it. Subscribe and Save from Amazon.com.
What is “Subscribe and Save?” It’s a subscription service from Amazon. They give you a 15% discount on their already low price on whatever you’re buying and they throw in free shipping too! That can save you a lot of money and more importantly, time. Buying these items is not only cheaper but it frees you up to do more of whatever it is you want to do with your day. You can always get more money, but you can’t get more time. But Amazon’s “Subscribe & Save” program you can do both, which is rare, and most definitely, a plus.
I am not an Amazon employee or stockholder (though both would be very, very cool) I just found out about this and I thought I’d share. I was looking all over the internet to find ways to get cheaper vitamins. I’d been going to Allstarhealth.com for a while, but there you pay shipping and tax, and those two can eat up a lot of your savings, so I hit up Amazon. I got what I wanted for a lot cheaper than anywhere else online.
It’s not just vitamins on the Subscribe and Save list. It includes everything from vitamins to diapers to Coconut Water to Toothbrushes, dog food, cat food, and more! Whatever you’re shopping for you’re bound to find it on the Subscribe and Save list. There are just under 53,000 items on this list, so whatever you want, you can bet they probably have it. And it’s probably cheaper here than at your local store. And if it is, and you don’t mind having it shipped, why would you not? It seems like a pretty easy way to save.
The only catch, is that it’s a subscription. You will of course choose the frequency and you have the option of pausing it or cancelling it. If you don’t, it will keep coming at the frequency you originally chose until you cancel. So that means you’ll have to remember to budget accordingly.
Keep saving! Until next time!
