Creating Change for 2012

“STARTING OVER IS WHAT CREATION IS ALL ABOUT” – Anonymous

I bet if you took a poll and asked a group of people what starting over meant to them – the answers would lean toward defeat in some way. Many of you have already abandoned quick resolutions made maybe even at 11:58pm on New Year’s Eve. But it’s never too late…

Think about this: Creation.

Creation is the birth of new things to come. Creation is about learning and experiencing something beyond the scope of our thinking. Our finite minds can really block out infinite possibilites and opportunities.

So for 2012 – what can you create by starting over?

You don’t have to now do something that you didn’t do in 2011. What about a completely new idea or ideal to go after? If you wanted to lose weight in 2011 and didn’t accomplish your goals – what about CREATING vitality in your life for 2012. Changing our language changes our actions which changes our results.

When one says they want to LOSE WEIGHT. What are they focusing on? The weight. Our subconscious mind will then in turn look for weight. Our RAS – reticular activation system (the neurological process of what our brain looks for) will search for weight. This said person will see other people with weight issues. He/she will focus on people who are thinner and possibly envy that body and compare it to their own – in a negative way perhaps. So think about this: if this said person was focusing on VITALITY – what changes? EVERYTHING. The reticular activating system will pick up on foods to fuel, ways to move the body that invigorates and stimulates. This is a starting over process of CREATING a new way of living because we are CREATING new ways to think, speak, and act.

Let me know what you tend to CREATE for 2012. I’d love to hear your stories.
