Goodbye Tresses?

Getting my hair cut is a serious undertaking. For starters, I’m female. Second, I’m picky. Third, and perhaps the most critical bit of information, I have very curly hair. And when “The Hair” is trimmed it gets curlier and shrinks up very quickly.

No One to Go With?

Go by yourself!

Finding time to travel can be challenging enough without putting your hopes on a convenient date for family or friends.

Ah Champagne!

When planning a trip to France most people include areas of the country where they can enjoy wine tasting such as Bordeaux, Rhone or Burgundy. While the French are renowned for their luscious wines, don’t forget they are also famous for Champagne! True Champagne is named after the region in which it’s made. Sure there are wonderful sparkling wines from California, Italy, and other areas, but it is only “Champagne” if made in the lush, cool region in northern France.

Spring Skiing in Mammoth

Mammoth Mountain is one of the premier mountain resorts in California. Sure, you think of California as a warm and sunny place to visit, not a “winter” destination, but Mammoth is sure to surprise. The resort defies the notion you have to freeze your tail off in order to get your snow groove on. If you like to ski or ride, you’ve got to try Mammoth in the Springtime.

New Years Bargains

If you want to ring in the New Year somewhere other than your couch with Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest, international travel deals have never been better. Why not celebrate New Year’s Eve in colorful Rio de Janeiro or picturesque Prague if you don’t have to be home for the holidays.

How it all began…

Mrs. Borinstein’s fourth grade French class was the great introduction to one of the main loves of my life.  With my first oui, I wanted to move to Paris.   Now here’s the omg moment… as of TODAY I’ve been living  in Paris for five weeks!  The golden ticket of a temporary job relocation was the opportunity I needed to pack up shop in Los Angeles and cross the pond.  After a few sweaty months of gearing up for the move, I am living the dream for a year.   Pinch me, I can’t believe this is my life.
